On Tuesday, in Mbooni, Makueni County, residents were shocked after a man’s body was discovered lying in a pool of blood. Part of his body had already been mauled by wild animals or beasts, leaving the community in fear and sorrow.

According to police reports, officers are yet to confirm whether the man was murdered and his body dumped in the bush to be attacked by wild animals or if he had died naturally.
“We are conducting thorough investigations to determine the cause of death. At this stage, we cannot rule out foul play,” said one of the officers involved in the case.
