Kenyans have been left in great confusion after Somali youths who were earlier accused of disrespecting the Kenyan flag at Nyayo Stadium appeared in a new video.

In the video, the young boys, believed to be teenagers, could be seen singing and laughing as they enjoyed themselves. This has raised questions among many citizens who are now unsure of the truth about the case.

On Thursday, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) issued a statement confirming that the youths had been arrested. According to the DCI, the suspects were already in police custody and would soon be arraigned in court to face charges of dishonoring the Kenyan flag.

“The suspects are in custody and will face the law,” the DCI assured Kenyans. However, the release of another video showing the same youths enjoying themselves has now left the public asking who exactly was arrested.

Earlier, several leaders in the country had demanded action to be taken against the group of teenagers. Among them was the Cabinet Secretary for Interior, Kipchumba Murkomen, who strongly condemned the actions of the boys.

He insisted that the youths should be arrested and prosecuted for disrespecting a national symbol.

“No one should joke with the flag of our nation. The law must take its course,” Murkomen had said in his statement.

Many Kenyans also expressed anger after the incident and wanted the authorities to act quickly. Social media users were particularly vocal, saying that such behavior should never be tolerated.

They argued that the flag represents the unity and pride of Kenya, and any disrespect towards it is a serious insult to the entire country. For them, the DCI’s move to arrest the suspects was the right step towards protecting the dignity of the nation.

But now, the new video has brought a wave of shock and confusion across the country. Many people are wondering whether the suspects who were arrested by DCI are the same youths who appeared in the latest video.

Others believe that the video might have been recorded earlier before the arrests, but this has not been confirmed. The matter remains unclear, and Kenyans are still waiting for answers from the authorities.
