Well, California never disappoints.
In what looked like a scene straight out of a telenovela mixed with a reality show, a local senator reportedly turned a peaceful bar into a WWE ring after he caught his wife having drinks with a man described by witnesses as “looking completely unhinged” — and let’s just say, things went downhill real fast.
According to people who were there for what they thought would be a chill Friday night, the senator stormed in looking like a man on a mission.
"You could tell this dude wasn’t there for happy hour," one witness said while still holding their half-eaten nachos.
He spotted his wife across the room, sitting with a guy who looked like he hadn't slept in three days and maybe argued with five Uber drivers on the way there.
Without skipping a beat, the senator marched over, flipped a wine glass (classic move), and asked the most dangerous question known to mankind:
“Who is this?”
Things got loud. Shouting happened. The “mad man” started laughing like he was in a movie. The wife tried to calm things down, but it was too late. Smack! A slap flew, and so did the crowd’s attention.
Security rushed in. Drinks spilled. Someone screamed, “WORLDSTAR!” and hit record.
Cops eventually showed up, but it’s not clear if anyone was arrested — or just emotionally damaged.
As of now, no names have been released. But trust and believe — the memes are fire, and TikTok sleuths are already on the case trying to figure out which California senator had the worst date night in history.
