Chaos in Popular Church as Preacher Caught Red-Handed With Choir Member – Worshipers Scattered

On Sunday morning, a well-known church in one of Kenya's busy towns turned into a scene of drama and shock. Worshipers who had gathered early for the usual praise and worship session were left speechless after what they saw.

According to members who were present, their preacher, who is known for giving powerful sermons, was caught red-handed in the church compound with a young lady who sings in the choir. It was reported that the two were found in a position that was “not holy” by one of the church elders who had come early to set up the church instruments.

The elder, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said he had walked into one of the side rooms used for church meetings. To his surprise, he found the preacher and the choir member inside, in a very compromising situation. He quickly raised the alarm, and within minutes, several other members who had arrived heard the commotion and rushed to the room.

“They were not even dressed properly. I could not believe my eyes,” one woman said, adding that the preacher tried to cover himself while the lady rushed out in embarrassment.

The drama that followed was intense. Some members began shouting while others called on the preacher to explain himself. A few women started crying, saying they had trusted him with their lives. Others said this was not the first time rumors had been going around about the preacher’s behavior, but no one had proof until now.

The church service could not continue. Some members picked their Bibles and left immediately. A group of youth also threatened to remove the preacher by force if he did not step down.

“We have been coming here for spiritual guidance, only to find this shame. This church must be cleaned!” one angry youth shouted.

By 11 am, the church compound was almost empty, with only a few elders remaining behind to calm the situation. The preacher, whose face looked pale and shocked, left quietly through the back door. The young lady was nowhere to be seen.

It is still unclear whether the preacher will return or if the church leadership will take action. Many members have now called for an emergency meeting to discuss the matter and decide on the way forward.
