What started as a quiet evening in one of the hotels in town turned into drama many people are now talking about online.
On Thursday night, people who were at a popular hotel in the city were left shocked after a woman, said to be a Senator, allegedly ran out of her hotel room without shoes—after her husband arrived without warning.
According to people who work at the hotel, the Senator had checked in earlier that day and was not alone. She came with a man who is not her husband, and the two were said to be very comfortable together.
“She came in smiling and holding hands with the man. They even ordered dinner to their room,” said a hotel worker.
Things were peaceful until around 9:00 p.m., when another man suddenly showed up at the hotel reception, asking to go to that same room. He looked angry and serious.
“At first we thought he was a lost guest,” said a security guard. “But when he shouted the woman’s name and ran upstairs, we knew this was not normal.”
What happened next felt like a movie. People at the hotel said they saw the door open fast, and the Senator rushed out in a hurry, wearing only a night dress and holding her phone. She had no shoes and looked confused.
“She passed by the stairs like a wind,” one guest said while laughing. “Even the receptionist couldn’t stop her.”
The man she was with, said to be younger than her, locked himself in the room for some minutes before sneaking out quietly through the back. The husband, now very angry, was left shouting and asking where his wife went.
By the time police arrived, the hotel was full of noise, and many people had taken videos and shared them online. Some were laughing, others were just shocked.
Nobody was hurt, and the hotel later confirmed that they are handling the matter privately.
Many people online are now joking about the incident. Some say this is what happens when you try to “eat life with a big spoon” while others are asking, “What was the husband doing there at that time?”
The Senator has not spoken about the matter, and her husband has also kept quiet. But from the way things happened, it looks like the truth is already out.
