During his third day of the tour in Nairobi County, President William Ruto issued a stern warning to the youth, challenging them to heckle him at their own risk. He made it clear that anyone attempting such behavior would face legal consequences they would regret.
Ruto condemned the rising trend of youths disrupting leaders during public addresses and stressed that this behavior must come to an end. He said, "There are those who have a habit of making noise when leaders speak, but let me tell you, if you are brave enough, try it when I’m here and see what happens."
The president emphasized the importance of respecting leaders and listening to their messages. He urged young people to engage in constructive dialogue with leaders if they feel something is wrong, rather than resorting to heckling.
Ruto also directed a warning at those hired by other politicians to stir up chaos at rallies, vowing that anyone caught will be held fully accountable, with no leniency.
