Mwala MP and United Democratic Alliance (UDA) National Organising Secretary Vincent Kawaya has declared that the Kenya Kwanza administration remains firm on its development promises, brushing off what he termed as “empty noise” from critics.
Addressing residents at Ng’imuriae Primary School in Kerio Valley Ward during a women empowerment programme, Kawaya — who represented President William Ruto at the event — insisted that the government’s focus is on delivering results, not engaging in endless political arguments.
“While others shout from rooftops, we are on the ground rolling out real empowerment programmes. This government delivers, not complains,” Kawaya told the gathering, promising equal development across all regions, from Turkana to the Coast.
The MP, a key ally of President Ruto in Ukambani, pledged to return to Turkana with more state-backed initiatives targeting women and youth empowerment, stressing that “no part of Kenya will be left behind.”
He was flanked by Turkana Central MP Joseph Namuar Emathe and other grassroots leaders.
His remarks came against the backdrop of a heated political exchange between President Ruto’s allies and former President Uhuru Kenyatta, who recently accused the current regime of reversing some of his administration’s gains.
In response, Deputy President Kithure Kindiki and other senior leaders defended Ruto, arguing that programmes such as the Social Health Authority (SHA) are aimed at expanding services for ordinary Kenyans.
Despite the growing political rhetoric, Kawaya maintained that Kenya Kwanza’s mission is to transform lives.
“Our work is service delivery, not trading insults. Constructive criticism is welcome, but empty noise will not derail us,” he added.
