Speaking on Sunday in Nairobi, one of former Deputy Rigathi Gachagua’s close allies made strong remarks about the 2027 general elections.
According to the ally, none of the popular leaders such as Kalonzo Musyoka, Fred Matiang’i, former Chief Justice Maraga, or even President William Ruto will win the next elections.
In his statement, the man identified as Mustapha Ogithe, who is the uncle of Gotha wa Mugothe, another known supporter of the former Deputy President, said that the mentioned politicians should stop wasting their time and energy trying to convince Kenyans with their promises and manifestos.
He claimed that Kenyans are tired of hearing the same words from the same leaders every election season.
“They should just stop lying to people. Kenyans already know who they want. These leaders should relax because their time is over,” Ogithe said.
He further added that whether Ruto, Kalonzo, or Matiang’i like it or not, the impeached Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua will be the one to become the 6th President of Kenya.
According to him, Gachagua will win the 2027 election with a clear victory, and the results will be announced before 8:00 a.m. on the same day.
Ogithe stated that once Gachagua comes into power, his first mission will be revenge before starting to work for Kenyans.
He warned that President William Ruto and other leaders who played a role in Gachagua’s impeachment will face the law and “rot in jail” for what they did.
“Those who betrayed him will pay. They will face justice once he takes over,” he said.
He went on to add that even Kalonzo Musyoka, Fred Matiang’i, and the former Chief Justice Maraga will not be spared. According to Ogithe, there was a time when they wronged Gachagua, and he will make sure they are also jailed.
