Shock as Popular Businessman Loses Goods Worth Millions in Devastating Warehouse Robbery

A businessman is counting heavy losses after unknown thieves broke into his warehouse and made away with goods valued at more than 50 million Ugandan shillings.

John, a well-known trader in the city, said the break-in occurred late in the night, leaving him devastated after years of hard work and investment went up in smoke. The robbers reportedly gained access by cutting through the warehouse gate before loading the items onto a waiting vehicle and disappearing into the night.

Speaking about the incident, John described the experience as one of the darkest moments of his life. “I have been in business for years, but I have never experienced such a loss. They took everything I had worked for,” he said.
