In Kisumu County on Tuesday morning, residents were left in shock after a bishop and his daughter were discovered murdered in a lodging.
According to reports, a 25-year-old man who had rented the room for a brief encounter with his partner stumbled upon the gruesome scene and immediately raised the alarm.
With no gesture, a crowd of residents gathered at the location, drawn by the commotion. The police were also notified and quickly arrived at the scene, where they collected the bodies and transported them to the morgue.
The owner of the lodging was arrested and taken into custody. During questioning, he stated that the bishop and his daughter had checked in the previous evening around 8:30PM.
He expressed his disbelief, claiming he had no idea what transpired during the night and was shocked to learn of the brutal killings.
Police officers in Kisumu have launched an investigation into the incident.
