Shock as Indian Doctors Finally Reveal What They Found Inside Raila's Body After His Death

Fresh details have emerged from India revealing what doctors discovered after the sudden death of ODM Party leader Raila Odinga early Wednesday morning.

According to medics at Devamatha Hospital in southern India—where Raila was rushed after collapsing—the veteran politician had been battling several underlying health complications before his passing.

One of the attending doctors explained that after conducting thorough medical examinations, they discovered that Raila was suffering from diabetes, kidney complications, and a condition known as Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) in his right leg. The doctors also noted that he had a medical history of recurrent fainting spells.

The lead physician in charge of the emergency response said that when Raila was brought in, he had suffered cardiac arrest.

The medical team immediately began Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and other life-saving measures, but despite their best efforts, they were unable to revive him.

“We did everything possible, including prolonged CPR, but unfortunately, we couldn’t save him. Our deepest condolences go to his family and to the people of Kenya,” the doctor stated.

Before the tragic incident, Raila had been receiving specialized treatment at the Sreedhareeyam Ayurvedic Eye Hospital and Research Centre.

Reports indicate that he collapsed during a morning walk near the hospital premises.
