According to information gathered by Vihiga News, the late ODM leader’s Will requested that his burial take place no later than three days after his passing.
Sources close to the family confirmed that President William Ruto was informed of Raila’s wish immediately after arriving at the Odinga home in Karen on Wednesday morning.
“Raila wanted a simple send-off within 72 hours. The President and family have agreed to honour that,” a family insider said.
Plans for his burial are already in motion. A national funeral committee co-chaired by Deputy President Kithure Kindiki and Siaya Senator Dr. Oburu Odinga has begun meetings to coordinate all activities leading to the burial. To continue reading click here.
