A senior police officer is currently fighting for his life in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after a heated argument with his wife turned violent at their home late Monday night.
According to neighbours, the couple’s disagreement, which reportedly began over financial issues, quickly escalated into a physical altercation.
Moments later, loud screams were heard coming from the officer’s residence, prompting neighbours to rush to the scene.
Upon arrival, they found the officer lying unconscious in a pool of blood with deep cuts to his head and upper body.
His wife, described as visibly angry and shaken, was still inside the house when help arrived.
The injured officer was first taken to a nearby private hospital before being transferred to the ICU for specialized treatment. Doctors have described his condition as critical, citing severe internal injuries and heavy bleeding.
