Stephen Letoo has shared new details about the events that followed the death of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
According to him, he was part of the delegation that traveled to India to bring back Raila’s body.
The team, led by Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, arrived in Mumbai where the process was handled under tight security by the Indian military.
Letoo explained that the delegation was not allowed to open or view the coffin because it had already been sealed for transport.
Everything at the Mumbai airport was conducted swiftly. After a brief prayer session, the coffin was carefully placed onto a Kenya Airways flight, and the group began their return journey to Nairobi.
