Majority Leader in the National Assembly, Hon. Kimani Ichung’wah, has launched a scathing attack on Kakamega Senator Dr. Boni Khalwale and Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya, accusing them of secretly working for former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
Ichung’wah claimed that the two leaders are allegedly sabotaging development efforts in the Western Kenya region by opposing government initiatives meant to benefit their people.
“Huyu Khalwale pamoja na Natembeya ndio hawataki maendeleo huku Western. SHAME ON YOU. Yaani mmechaguliwa mfanyie Wakenya kazi kisha mnakataa maendeleo. I say shame on you.
You can’t be elected alafu bado unafanyia Gachagua na wale watu wake ya ukabila kazi,” Ichung’wah said while addressing congregants.
The outspoken lawmaker made the remarks while attending a church service at the African Church of the Holy Spirit in Malava town, Kakamega County.
He urged residents of Western Kenya not to listen to what he termed as “divisive leaders,” warning them against re-electing such leaders in the upcoming elections.
