According to reports, Raila collapsed on the morning of Wednesday, October 15, while undergoing treatment at an Ayurvedic hospital in Kerala, India.
Witnesses said he had just completed a light morning walk when he suddenly developed breathing difficulties.
He was quickly rushed to Devamatha Hospital, where doctors made several attempts to save his life. Despite their efforts, Raila was pronounced dead at around 9:52 a.m. Indian time.
A cardiologist at the hospital, Dr. Alphonse, later explained that the medical team performed Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for several minutes before trying other emergency procedures. Unfortunately, his condition did not improve.
A video that has now gone viral shows Raila dressed in hospital clothes, walking calmly along the hospital pavement. He appeared relaxed, smiling, and in good spirits as an aide followed closely behind. To continue reading click here.
