"Raila Will Not Be There to Defend You, Watch Your Tongue When Speaking," Sifuna Warned, Told What Will Happen to Him If He Attacks Ruto

On Sunday, a group of youths in Mombasa who support President William Ruto sent a strong message to ODM Secretary-General Edwin Sifuna over his repeated criticisms of the head of state.

The youths expressed their frustration, saying that Sifuna should be careful with his words when speaking about President Ruto.

In their statement, the group warned that this time, Sifuna would face consequences if he continued to attack the president.

They emphasized that words have weight, and public figures like Sifuna should think twice before making statements that could put them in trouble.

The youths also pointed out that with the death of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, nobody will be there to defend Sifuna if he crosses the line.

"Raila is gone, and now everyone must take responsibility for what they say," one of the youths said.

They further warned that the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) could take action against Sifuna if he insults the president or speaks negatively about the government.

The new cybercrime bill, they added, protects the president from harmful online and public attacks.

"The law is clear, and no one is above it," they noted.

Finally, the youths urged ODM and the Kenya Kwanza government to continue working together, as Raila Odinga and President Ruto had planned before his death.

They emphasized that nobody in ODM should openly attack the government but instead focus on the nation’s progress.
