Yvonne Lucy was shot and killed during a night vigil for Raila Odinga in Homa Bay, and her family is now raising serious concerns about how the case is being handled.

The incident occurred on October 17 when a police officer fired a bullet to disperse a crowd, which accidentally struck Yvonne.

While the police have stated that the shooting was unintentional and have arrested the officer involved, the family is not satisfied with how things are progressing.

Felix Onyango, Yvonne’s brother, is particularly troubled. He expressed disbelief that the officer, who was supposed to be in custody, managed to contact them.
