Speaking on Sunday early in the morning, ODM politician and a close ally to the late former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, Nuru Okanga, has made an emotional statement that has caught the attention of many Kenyans.
Okanga said that he is ready to die and join Raila in heaven, showing how deeply he loved and respected the ODM leader.
In his touching message, which made people around him cheer loudly, Okanga said that during Raila’s burial ceremony, when it will be his turn to speak, he will tell President William Ruto the truth to his face.
He promised not to hide anything, saying that this is the right moment to speak boldly on behalf of ordinary Kenyans who are struggling.
Okanga went on to say that Kenyans are suffering because there are no enough jobs, the education sector is in trouble, and the health system is getting worse.
He explained that life has become too expensive, and many families cannot afford basic needs anymore.
“I will tell him straight that people are tired. He must act and make life easier for Kenyans,” Okanga said.
He finished by saying that he is not afraid to speak the truth in front of the president.
“Even if it costs my life, I will say the truth,” he declared, as the crowd cheered louder in support of his words.
