BREAKING: 2 Mourners Shot Dead by Police as Chaos Erupts in Raila's Event in Nairobi

Tragedy struck at Kasarani Stadium on Thursday during the public viewing of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga's body as chaos erupted, leaving two mourners reportedly shot dead and several others injured.

Police fired tear gas to disperse the massive crowd that had thronged the stadium, forcing Kenyans to flee in panic.

Footage from the scene showed smoke filling the 48,000-capacity stadium as officers pursued fleeing mourners.
