Bad News for Robert Alai as He is Told What Will Happen to Him After Predicting Edwin Sifuna Will Be Kicked Out of ODM Party

Kileleshwa MCA Robert Alai has found himself in trouble after making a bold prediction about the future of the ODM Party.

On Sunday evening, after the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga was laid to rest, Alai claimed that ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna would be kicked out of the party in November.

According to Alai, the decision would be made because Sifuna has refused to support ODM’s growing cooperation with President Ruto’s government.

However, Alai’s remarks did not go unnoticed. On X (formerly Twitter), a youth leader from Kileleshwa known as Cornelius Mumbili quickly fired back.

Mumbili warned Alai that his political future could soon be at risk, saying that in the next election, Alai would not be given another chance to serve as the area MCA.

He accused Alai of using ODM issues to attack loyal members of the party instead of helping unite supporters.

During the burial ceremony in Bondo, Siaya County, Edwin Sifuna himself made it clear that ODM remains in the opposition, just as Raila Odinga had wished before his death.

Sifuna said the party will continue to fight for the people and will produce its own presidential candidate in the next general election.

Even so, Sifuna’s words were not welcomed by everyone. Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga strongly disagreed, saying that as ODM’s chairperson, she will ensure the party continues to work with the broad-based government.

Wanga claimed that Raila had directed ODM to remain part of the unity arrangement, not the opposition.

Tension now seems to be rising within ODM as leaders continue to argue over which path the party should take after Raila’s death.
