"Anything Ruto Touches It Dies" Sifuna Receives Strong Message, Urged to Act After Ruto’s Allies in ODM Begin Fighting Him

ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna has been warned by some of his close allies to take action early before things get out of hand in the ODM party.

The warning comes after reports emerged that a section of ODM politicians linked to President William Ruto have started turning against him.

According to the reports, these ODM leaders who are now supporting Ruto are demanding that Sifuna should leave the party.

They accuse him of opposing the idea of a broad-based government between ODM and Kenya Kwanza, which was introduced after Raila Odinga’s death.

Sifuna’s allies have now advised him to be very careful, warning that “anything Ruto touches, it dies.”

They told him that since many of the politicians who are siding with the President have begun attacking him, it might be wise for him to leave and start building their own political movement — possibly the Kenya Moja Party.

Meanwhile, tension continues to rise within the ODM party following Raila Odinga’s burial. Some members insist that Raila had directed ODM to work together with Kenya Kwanza through the broad-based government.

However, others claim that Raila later changed his mind and declared that such an arrangement should not continue.

As the disagreement grows, political observers believe the next few weeks will be very crucial for ODM’s future and for Sifuna’s leadership.
