On Thursday, one media house reported that CS Hassan Joho told a story about a day when Forouk Kibet, who is an aide to President Ruto, made him very angry. They almost started a fight. But the president came in and stopped the problem before it became worse.
Joho said that just a few minutes after he had spoken to the crowd at the event, Kibet came up to him. He asked why Joho was wearing a cap while speaking. Kibet said he was standing right in front of him and did not like it.
Joho said, "He came to me and asked why I was wearing a cap when I was addressing the people. It surprised me."
Joho said he became very angry because Kibet did not ask him any important questions about what he said. Instead, he only cared about the cap Joho was wearing.
"I was shocked. I thought, why does he care so much about my cap and not the things I said?" Joho added.
He added that in his mind, Forouk Kibet had shown him disrespect. Joho said he was ready to fight Kibet. But then President Ruto came and stopped him. Ruto told Joho to calm down and not to fight.
"If President Ruto had not come, we would have had a serious fight that day," Joho said.
Joho added that he thank the president for stopping them from fighting, saying It was not good for them to fight over such a small thing.
