A very sad story has been reported from Lincoln Middle High School. According to one of the media houses, a deputy principal lost her life after being attacked by her husband.
The shocking incident happened in the school compound and left many people in deep grief.
The deputy principal, identified as Nerissa Lee, had finished her work in the evening and was going home together with her mother. Reports say that when they entered their car at the parking area, still within the school, her husband suddenly appeared.
He was armed with a firearm. Without warning, he hijacked them and opened fire, spraying them with bullets.
The sound of gunshots was heard by officers who were guarding the school. They rushed quickly to the parking lot to check what was happening. When they arrived, they found the man still holding the gun.
Shockingly, he pointed the gun at the officers. Moments later, before they could do anything, the man turned the weapon on himself and shot, ending his life instantly.
The officers later explained that when they approached the car, what they saw was heartbreaking. Inside the vehicle, the deputy principal and her mother were already dead. They were lying in a pool of blood after being shot many times.
Together with the husband’s body, the three were taken to the morgue as investigations started.
Police officers who spoke to reporters said the attack appears to have come from a domestic dispute between the husband and his wife. They explained that sometimes family issues can grow into dangerous fights if not handled in peace.
However, they also made it clear that investigations are still ongoing to understand fully what led to this sad killing.
The death of deputy principal Nerissa Lee has left the school, her family, and the community in deep mourning. Teachers and students described her as a hardworking and caring leader who always wanted the best for the young learners.
Many parents also shared their sorrow, saying that it is painful to lose such a dedicated educator in such a cruel way.
