Getty Nyambura, a beautiful young lady from Kenya, is going through a very painful moment after receiving shocking news from her ex-boyfriend.
According to her story, the two had lived together for many years in a relationship. But recently, the ex-boyfriend called her and dropped a heartbreaking message. He told her openly that he had infected her with HIV.
In a video statement shared on TikTok, and later reported by one of the media houses, Getty revealed how the painful news was passed to her. She said the man told her in a bold way that she should go to the nearest hospital for a test if she wanted to confirm his words.
“He told me to go and test so I can prove the truth for myself,” Getty narrated adding that the words left her shaken, and she did not know how to react at first.
Gathering courage, she decided to go for the test. When the results came out, she broke down in tears. Sadly, the tests confirmed that she was HIV positive.
Getty explained that this was the most painful day of her life. The ex-boyfriend did not even show remorse. Instead, he went ahead to give her cruel advice.
“He told me since I am already infected, I should also pass the virus to other men, the way he did to me,” she revealed while crying in her video.
Getty could not hide her emotions as she narrated how her life had changed in just a few days. She said she trusted the man so much and never expected him to betray her in such a terrible way.
According to her, the relationship ended only because of minor issues, which she chose not to share publicly.
“We broke up over very small personal matters that I don’t even want to speak about,” she explained.
Her story has touched many people online, with some expressing anger towards the man, while others showed support and sympathy to Getty.
Many social media users have advised her to remain strong and avoid following the wrong advice of her ex-boyfriend.
They encouraged her to seek counseling and focus on her health so that she can live a long life even with the virus.
